1. Platform Nature
MyPetSitters.com.au is a directory only. We do not provide pet sitting services, employ sitters, guarantee availability, quality, or conduct, or facilitate or enforce bookings. Users may communicate via the platform, but are not required to do so.
2. Independent Contractors
All pet sitters listed are independent contractors. Nothing on this website creates an employment relationship, a partnership, or an agency relationship.
3. No Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Pet Sitters is not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or death of pets, property damage, disputes between users, negligence, misconduct, or misrepresentation by users, or financial loss of any kind. All arrangements are made entirely at the user’s own risk.
4. Profile Review & Moderation
We may review profile submissions, edit, reject, suspend, or remove listings, and investigate complaints or concerns. We do not guarantee accuracy, suitability, or trustworthiness of any listing.
5. User Obligations
Users must provide accurate and truthful information, not create fake or misleading profiles, not post illicit, offensive, or unlawful content, and comply with all applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion.
6. Account Suspension & Removal
We may suspend or terminate accounts without notice if we believe there has been a breach of these terms or behaviour that may harm the platform or other users.
7. Free Service
The platform is currently free to use. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, and structure belongs to My Pet Sitters unless otherwise stated. Users grant us a licence to display submitted content for platform operation.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes must be resolved under this jurisdiction.
